Aliens USCM Nostromo Containment Dropship Diorama Romulus Custom

Built for hot-zone extraction and close-range xeno suppression, the NEX-8 Containment Gunship was deployed where standard dropships came back empty, shredded, or not at all. Its reinforced cargo bay was designed for rapid specimen recovery, while the upper gun towers, forward cannons, side missile pods and rear defensive batteries turned the craft into a flying quarantine breach response unit. Heavy orange industrial plating, cold grey armour blocks, scorched metallic weapon mounts and hazard markings give it the look of a machine dragged through colony fires, acid panic and corporate cover-up operations.

Custom Painted Collector Piece

Hand-painted and heavily weathered for a grimy industrial sci-fi finish.

The hull features layered orange, grey, white and blue armour panels with chipped edges, dirty panel lining, blackened vents, scratched metal, worn hazard stripes and battered service markings.

Armed Dropship Design

Loaded with visible weapon systems, including:

• Twin forward nose cannons
• Large roof-mounted turret guns
• Rear angled defensive barrels
• Side-mounted missile pods
• Small hull-mounted weapon clusters
• Heavy industrial engine blocks and vents

The whole craft has a brutal “combat recovery vehicle” feel, built more for survival than elegance.

Xeno Containment Bay

The open side bay and rear ramp create a strong action-scene display, with room to stage a xeno encounter, cargo extraction or emergency evacuation setup.

The interior has a dirty yellow industrial finish, giving it that used, claustrophobic, colony-utility look.

LED Display Effect

The installed lighting gives the piece a dramatic cinematic glow, with green containment-style illumination and red emergency lighting across the upper deck and engines.

In low light, the model takes on a full movie-scene atmosphere, perfect for display photography or shelf presence.

Weathering & Finish

The surface has been finished with aggressive grime, drybrushed metal, chipped plating, dirty recess shading, soot-darkened weapon areas and worn industrial edges.

It is designed to look like a hard-used machine from a doomed off-world operation, not a clean showroom model.
