Blade Runner Custom Cyberpunk Gunship LED Lights

I’ve designed and painted this custom gunship with the crowded, industrial world of Blade Runner in mind—a heavily armed craft imagined above rain-soaked streets and neon-lit buildings.

The blue and purple paintwork gives it a distinctive identity, with contrasting panels breaking up the hull and metallic detailing drawing attention to the engines, weapons and exposed machinery. I’ve worked into the surfaces with dark washes, scuffs, worn edges and grime to give the finish depth and suggest years of service.

The balance between colour and wear is deliberate. I wanted the gunship to retain its striking colours while looking like a working machine, with weathering that brings out the construction rather than obscuring it.

Blue LED lighting adds to the atmosphere after dark, illuminating details around the body and engines. The photographs show the piece with the lights both on and off so you can examine the finish in each setting.

This is my own Blade Runner-inspired custom creation, rather than a replica of a specific craft from the films.
