M.A.S.K. MASK Custom Battle Base Matt Trakker V.E.N.O.M.

Built around a towering central cannon and surrounding gun positions, this custom M.A.S.K. battle base gives Matt Trakker’s team somewhere to make a stand against V.E.N.O.M. Yellow armour keeps the bold character of the franchise, while worn machinery and red LED lighting give the base a battle-used appearance.

I approached the paintwork with M.A.S.K.’s concealed weapons and surprise attack features in mind. Here, the firepower is fully exposed: a raised main gun above smaller defensive positions, with pipes, vents and mechanical housings packed around the perimeter.

I’ve used dark washes to separate that detail, then picked out the metalwork and worn edges by hand. Scuffs break up the yellow panels, with grime worked into the recesses around the weapons. I wanted the colour and adventure of M.A.S.K. to remain visible beneath the weathering.

An LED light kit is included, illuminating sections of the base in red. Alongside the heavy weapons, it gives the impression of a defence station on alert as Miles Mayhem’s forces approach.
