Star Wars Clone Wars Custom Republic Assault Walker Vintage Collectible

A shoulder-mounted cannon and six-tube missile launcher give this custom Star Wars Republic assault walker its heavy firepower. I pictured it advancing alongside clone troopers, providing support against Separatist droids while its pilot operates from the armoured chest cockpit.

The exposed machinery gave me plenty to work into. I’ve picked out pistons, cables, joints and armour edges with metallic highlights, using dark washes to separate the closely packed components. Blue accents trace sections of the hull and limbs, giving the walker a Republic squadron identity against the worn metal.

The large weapons needed the same attention as the body. Shading around the cannon housing and inside the launcher tubes gives them depth, while scuffed edges carry the weathering across their mounts. They look like part of the same working machine rather than separate, freshly fitted equipment.

Around the legs and lower chassis, I’ve built up a darker, dirtier finish. Higher up, the cockpit surround and shoulder armour show more exposed-metal wear. Those differences help tell the story of a walker that has spent its service pushing through rubble on Clone Wars battlefields.
