Star Wars Darth Vader Custom TIE Fighter TIE Advanced Vintage Collectible

Oversized forward cannons give this custom Star Wars TIE Advanced a much heavier assault role. Paired with the worn metallic armour and angled wings, they give Darth Vader’s fighter the threatening presence I wanted for this piece.

Those big guns are a major part of its character. Extending well forward of the hull, they change the silhouette and make the fighter look equipped to attack larger Rebel targets. I’ve picked out the barrel assemblies and weapon housings with metallic highlights, using darker washes between the components to bring out their depth.

Across the cockpit and wing supports, I’ve built up grime, scuffs and exposed-metal effects. The broad wing surfaces have individually detailed panels and recessed channels, with variations in tone to keep the finish from becoming one uniform metallic colour.

I pictured Vader taking this heavily armed fighter into an assault on a Rebel stronghold. That idea connects the additional firepower with the battered finish: a personal attack craft carrying the marks of repeated combat.
