Star Wars Imperial Shuttle Custom Imperial Transport vintage kenner

I’ve designed and painted this custom Star Wars Imperial Shuttle with a weathered pale-grey finish, detailed weapon assemblies and green LED lighting throughout the interior.

The broad hull surfaces have been worked with layered washes, panel shading, scuffs and streaking to give the shuttle a convincing sense of scale. Darker recesses define the armour sections, while worn edges and metallic highlights bring out the smaller mechanical details.

I wanted the finish to suggest an Imperial transport that has seen regular service. The weathering varies across the hull, with grime around seams and machinery and more subtle tonal changes across the larger panels. This gives the surface depth while keeping the recognisable Imperial appearance.

The opening compartments reveal an interior picked out with control-panel details and green illumination. With the access panels open, the lighting makes the internal spaces a central feature of the piece; closed, the attention returns to the angular hull and exterior paintwork.

The photographs show the shuttle from multiple angles, including the interior and views with the lighting switched on and off.
