STARCOM SHADOWBAT CUSTOM SPACE SHIP VEHICLE LED VINTAGE 3.75 SCI FI COLLECTIBLE

This one-off custom sci-fi vehicle artwork has been created through hand painting, layered weathering, detailed finishing and integrated LED lighting. Designed as a 3.75-inch scale display piece, it combines the bold military space aesthetic of classic 1980s science fiction with a darker, more realistic collector finish, creating a unique vehicle that exists as its own piece of display art.

The paintjob pushes that identity even further. The segmented blue and magenta armour gives it a bold retro-fleet feel, but the dark panel lining keeps everything sharp and mechanical rather than toy-like. The lighter armour around the cockpit breaks up the front nicely and frames the command section so the eye lands there first. It feels like a special-issue squadron machine rather than a standard production ship, with a colour layout that makes it stand out immediately on display.

Integrated LED lighting gives the model even more presence, especially through the cockpit and underside. Lit up, it feels powered, crewed and ready to launch, with a strong late-80s sci-fi display energy that suits the ship perfectly. The lighting brings the hull to life without taking away from the actual structure, so the shape still does the heavy lifting.

This is a one-off handmade custom display piece with a strong Starcom feel and a very distinctive gunship/interceptor silhouette. The long pursuit nose, dorsal cannons, wide engine pods, side weapons and vivid segmented hull all give it a lot more character than a standard custom repaint. It has real shelf presence and looks great both lit and unlit.
