GI Joe Classified Custom Vehicles & Dioramas

Explore my collection of custom-painted GI Joe Classified vehicles, Cobra bases, military transports, aircraft, battle stations and dioramas designed for 6-inch GI Joe Classified Series action figures.

I individually design and paint each piece, creating larger-scale vehicles and environments with detailed weathering, battle damage, paint chipping, worn surfaces, mechanical detailing, panel variation and custom markings. My aim is to create distinctive pieces that fit naturally alongside the characters and world of GI Joe Classified.

GI Joe characters include Duke, Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Roadblock, Flint, Lady Jaye, General Hawk, Beach Head, Stalker, Gung-Ho, Shipwreck, Spirit Iron-Knife, Sgt. Slaughter, Tunnel Rat, Low-Light, Dusty, Snow Job, Alpine, Bazooka, Quick Kick, Jinx, Mutt and Junkyard, Outback, Recondo, Cover Girl, Lifeline, Doc, Rip Cord, Wild Bill, Clutch, Rock ’n Roll, Torpedo, Airborne, Shockwave, Dial-Tone, Helix, Kamakura and Agent Helix.

These characters provide opportunities for custom command centres, battlefield environments, military vehicles, headquarters, hangars, reconnaissance stations and individual character-themed designs.

Cobra Commander, Destro and Cobra Forces

The Cobra organisation is an important part of my custom work, offering opportunities for unusual vehicle designs, fortified bases, futuristic military equipment and experimental weapons platforms.

Cobra characters include Cobra Commander, Destro, Baroness, Storm Shadow, Zartan, Major Bludd, Firefly, Serpentor, Dr. Mindbender, Scrap-Iron, Copperhead, Tomax and Xamot, Croc Master, Big Boa, Crystal Ball, Raptor and Nemesis Enforcer.

The wider Cobra army includes Cobra Troopers, Cobra Officers, Cobra Vipers, Crimson Guards, Alley Vipers, Night Vipers, Range Vipers, Techno Vipers, Tele-Vipers, Snow Serpents, Cobra Eels, Cobra B.A.T.s, Iron Grenadiers, Python Patrol and Cobra Infantry.

I particularly enjoy creating Cobra-themed vehicles and environments with industrial surfaces, mechanical detailing, armoured structures, weathered finishes and faction-specific markings.

Dreadnoks, Iron Grenadiers and Special Forces

My designs can also explore the Dreadnoks, including Zartan, Zarana, Zandar, Buzzer, Ripper, Torch and Road Pig, with custom vehicles, abandoned industrial bases, workshops, garages and heavily weathered equipment.

The Iron Grenadiers and Destro’s forces offer another direction for custom military machinery, experimental bases and armoured vehicles.

GI Joe specialist teams including Tiger Force, Night Force, Python Patrol, the Original 13 and the wider Classified Series roster provide further possibilities for distinctive paint schemes, squadron markings, tactical bases and character-specific equipment.

Custom GI Joe Classified Vehicles

I work with existing vehicles, custom components and suitable larger-scale pieces to create designs that complement 6-inch GI Joe Classified action figures.

Classic GI Joe vehicles associated with this universe include the Cobra HISS Tank, Cobra Stinger, Cobra Rattler, Cobra FANG, Cobra Night Raven, Cobra Ferret, Cobra Water Moccasin, Dreadnok Thunder Machine, GI Joe VAMP, AWE Striker, Dragonfly, Skystriker, Tomahawk, Snow Cat, MOBAT, Mauler Tank, WHALE Hovercraft, HAVOC and Rolling Thunder.

These classic designs provide references for custom colours, mechanical details, unit insignia, battle damage and original military-style creations.

I also explore futuristic equipment, command centres, fortified bases, hangars, weapons platforms, industrial installations and science fiction military dioramas.

Character-Themed GI Joe Classified Commissions

I can design custom vehicles and dioramas around individual GI Joe and Cobra characters, using their distinctive colours, uniforms, armour, equipment and faction identities.

For example, a Cobra Commander command base might use Cobra insignia and imposing military architecture, while a Destro weapons installation could feature industrial machinery, armoured surfaces and experimental equipment.

A Snake Eyes tactical base, Storm Shadow training environment, Baroness command vehicle, Firefly demolition station or Major Bludd armoured transport can each have a different visual identity.

The intention is to create something that belongs to that particular character rather than simply painting a generic vehicle in different colours.

Individually Designed and Painted for 6-Inch Figures

Every project is individually worked on by me using airbrushing, hand painting, carefully applied washes, panel lining, paint chipping, scratches, grime, weathering and mechanical detailing.

The larger scale of GI Joe Classified figures allows for substantial display environments, military installations, vehicles, hangars and bases with additional surface detail.

My work brings together Hasbro GI Joe Classified Series, classic GI Joe A Real American Hero, Cobra action figures, vintage GI Joe designs, modern 6-inch action figure collecting and individually customised vehicles and dioramas.

I aim to retain the physical character of each original piece while giving it a distinct finish, whether that means a heavily weathered Cobra base, a battle-worn GI Joe transport or a futuristic military installation.
