Star Wars Starfighters & X-Wings

Explore my collection of custom-painted Star Wars X-Wings, Rebel Alliance starfighters, Republic spacecraft, Jedi fighters, Resistance ships and individually designed spacecraft from across the Star Wars universe.

I personally design and paint each piece, transforming existing Star Wars spacecraft through distinctive colour schemes, detailed weathering, battle damage, panel variation, mechanical detailing and carefully selected markings.

One of my favourite approaches is to customise Star Wars starfighters around individual characters, using their costumes, armour, colours, personalities, squadron identities and personal histories to develop unique spacecraft.

A Luke Skywalker X-Wing, an Ahsoka Tano Jedi Starfighter, a Boba Fett-themed spacecraft or a Captain Rex Republic fighter can each have a completely different visual identity. I enjoy exploring what familiar Star Wars ships might look like if they were designed specifically for different characters.

Rebel Alliance X-Wings and Starfighter Pilots

The Rebel Alliance is central to my custom Star Wars collection, particularly the famous X-Wing starfighters and their pilots from the Original Trilogy, Rogue One, Star Wars Rebels and the wider Expanded Universe.

Characters include Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles, Biggs Darklighter, Garven Dreis, Jek Porkins, Wes Janson, Hobbie Klivian, Tycho Celchu, Corran Horn, Gavin Darklighter, Derek Hobbie Klivian, Nien Nunb, Lando Calrissian, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Cassian Andor, Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook and Admiral Ackbar.

Famous Rebel fighter squadrons include Red Squadron, Gold Squadron, Blue Squadron, Green Squadron, Rogue Squadron, Phoenix Squadron and Wraith Squadron.

I can create custom spacecraft around individual pilots, including Luke Skywalker’s Red Five X-Wing, Wedge Antilles’ Rogue Squadron fighter or a completely original Rebel Alliance pilot design.

My Rebel spacecraft designs explore the T-65 X-Wing, T-70 X-Wing, Y-Wing, A-Wing, B-Wing, U-Wing, Z-95 Headhunter, E-Wing, Snowspeeder and other Rebel Alliance starfighters.

Each ship can be individually painted with custom squadron markings, worn fuselage panels, engine staining, scratched paintwork, personalised colours and evidence of long service in the Rebel fleet.

Jedi Starfighters and Clone Wars Characters

The Prequel Trilogy and The Clone Wars offer another enormous range of characters and spacecraft for custom projects.

Jedi characters include Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Yoda, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, Aayla Secura, Shaak Ti, Luminara Unduli, Barriss Offee, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Saesee Tiin, Adi Gallia, Eeth Koth, Quinlan Vos and Qui-Gon Jinn.

Clone Trooper characters include Captain Rex, Commander Cody, Commander Wolffe, Commander Gree, Commander Bly, Commander Fox, Captain Fordo, Fives, Echo, Jesse, Kix, Hardcase, Gregor, Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair and Omega.

Republic and Jedi spacecraft include the Delta-7 Aethersprite Jedi Starfighter, Eta-2 Actis Jedi Interceptor, ARC-170 Starfighter, V-Wing Starfighter, Z-95 Headhunter, Republic Gunship, Nu-Class Attack Shuttle and Clone Wars military transports.

A custom Ahsoka Tano Jedi Starfighter might reflect her white facial markings and distinctive colours, while a Captain Rex ARC-170 could incorporate the blue markings and battle-worn appearance associated with the 501st Legion.

An Anakin Skywalker fighter, Obi-Wan Kenobi interceptor, Plo Koon spacecraft or Commander Cody Republic fighter can each be given its own individual finish.

Mandalorian and Bounty Hunter Starfighters

The Mandalorian and bounty hunter characters provide another direction for custom-painted Star Wars spacecraft.

Characters include Din Djarin, Grogu, Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Bo-Katan Kryze, Sabine Wren, Pre Vizsla, Paz Vizsla, The Armorer, Koska Reeves, Fennec Shand, Cad Bane, Bossk, Dengar, IG-88, Embo, Aurra Sing and Hondo Ohnaka.

Famous spacecraft associated with this part of the Star Wars universe include Din Djarin’s modified N-1 Starfighter, Razor Crest, Boba Fett’s Slave I / Firespray Gunship, Mandalorian Gauntlet Fighters and Kom’rk-Class Fighters.

I enjoy creating designs based on the distinctive colours and weathered surfaces of Mandalorian armour, personal insignia, bounty hunter equipment and individual character identities.

For example, I can explore a Boba Fett X-Wing, a Sabine Wren A-Wing, a Din Djarin Jedi Starfighter or an entirely original spacecraft design incorporating the colours and markings of a chosen Mandalorian character.

Resistance and New Republic Starfighters

The Sequel Trilogy introduces another generation of starfighters and pilots, including Poe Dameron, Rey Skywalker, Finn, BB-8, Rose Tico, Zorii Bliss, Jessika Pava, Snap Wexley, Tallissan Lintra, Nien Nunb, Temmin Wexley, General Leia Organa and Lando Calrissian.

Resistance spacecraft include the T-70 X-Wing, T-85 X-Wing, Resistance A-Wing, Resistance Y-Wing and other New Republic starfighters.

Poe Dameron’s distinctive black-and-orange X-Wing provides an example of how a starfighter can develop its own recognisable character through colour alone.

I can explore alternative Resistance squadron markings, veteran pilot designs, New Republic colour schemes and individual spacecraft based on characters from the Star Wars sequel era.

Star Wars Legends, Video Games and Expanded Universe

My custom work can also explore characters and spacecraft from Star Wars Legends, Rogue Squadron, X-Wing Alliance, Star Wars Squadrons, Jedi Fallen Order, Jedi Survivor, Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Battlefront.

Characters include Kyle Katarn, Jan Ors, Dash Rendar, Mara Jade, Corran Horn, Tycho Celchu, Jaina Solo, Jacen Solo, Revan, Bastila Shan, Carth Onasi, Cal Kestis, Merrin, Cere Junda, Iden Versio, Del Meeko, Gideon Hask, Keo Venzee and Vanguard Squadron pilots.

These stories expand the possibilities for custom Rebel fighters, New Republic spacecraft, experimental starships, prototype squadron designs and individual pilot markings.

Individually Designed and Hand-Painted Star Wars Spacecraft

I work with existing physical Star Wars spacecraft, including vintage Kenner and Hasbro pieces, Star Wars The Vintage Collection and other suitable starfighters.

Every custom piece is individually painted by me using airbrushing, hand painting, surface weathering, washes, scratches, chipped paint, panel lining, engine staining, oil streaks and mechanical detailing.

I retain the recognisable structure of the original spacecraft while developing a distinctive appearance through carefully chosen paintwork and markings.

Some of my starfighters are designed around individual Star Wars characters, while others explore experimental Republic designs, Rebel Alliance squadrons, forgotten military units, prototype spacecraft and original colour schemes.

Custom commissions include the painted spacecraft and a stand where applicable. Figures are not included unless specifically stated.
