I design and repaint custom Star Wars A-Wing starfighters, creating individual colour schemes, markings and weathered finishes based on characters, pilots and factions from across the Star Wars universe.
My A-Wing customisations explore designs themed around Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Wedge Antilles, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Ahsoka Tano, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Chopper, Zeb Orrelios, Admiral Ackbar, Mon Mothma, Lando Calrissian, Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, Poe Dameron, Finn, Rey, Rose Tico and General Syndulla, alongside established A-Wing pilots including Arvel Crynyd, Jake Farrell, Tycho Celchu, Shara Bey and Tallissan Lintra.
I also explore alternative A-Wing designs influenced by Darth Vader, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, Darth Maul, Boba Fett, Din Djarin, Bo-Katan Kryze and the Mandalorians, imagining how these characters and factions might transform the appearance of this classic starfighter.
Each A-Wing is individually painted with layered colours, panel detailing, mechanical weathering, scratches, scuffs, engine staining and custom decals. My aim is to give each ship its own character and history while preserving the familiar shape of the original Star Wars A-Wing.
These custom starfighters draw from Star Wars Rebels, The Clone Wars, Rogue One, Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka and the sequel trilogy, bringing together familiar characters and new interpretations of Rebel Alliance, New Republic, Resistance and Imperial designs.
Thanks for looking, Josh.
