Star Wars Diorama Him Husband Dad Birthday boyfriend Present Gift Commission

If you’re looking for a Star Wars gift for someone who already seems to own everything, this is exactly what I make these commissions for.

Rather than buying another mass-produced collectible, I can create a one-off Star Wars vehicle or diorama specifically for the person you’re buying for. Something nobody else will have.

And please don’t worry if you don’t know all the names of the ships, characters or different Star Wars eras. You absolutely do not need to be the Star Wars expert in the house. 😊

Just message me and tell me a little about the person you’re buying for. Maybe it’s your husband, boyfriend, dad, son or another hopeless Star Wars obsessive. If you know their favourite character, film, colour or part of Star Wars, brilliant. If all you know is “he loves Star Wars and has a shelf full of it”, that’s enough to start.

You can even send me a photograph of their collection and I can help suggest something that would fit in with what they already have.

I’ll then talk you through the possibilities and we can choose:

• the vehicle or type of diorama
• the colours and overall design
• markings and insignia
• how clean or heavily weathered you want it
• any personal touches that would make it particularly suitable for them

I paint every commission myself. I use layered paintwork, washes, worn edges, scratches, grime, metallic highlights and subtle panel variation to take away the factory-produced appearance and make the finished piece feel like something that has actually lived in the Star Wars universe.

I can make something quite clean and elegant, or something battered and battle-worn. The important part is that it feels appropriate for the person receiving it, rather than simply being another item taken from a shelf.

The photographs in this listing show examples of my previous work and the sort of finish I can create. Your commission will be individually designed and painted for you, so it does not have to look like anything shown here.

This can work particularly well for a birthday, Christmas, anniversary, Father’s Day or a special present for a serious Star Wars fan where you want to give them something they genuinely won’t already own.

Please message me before purchasing. We can discuss your idea first, and once we’ve worked out exactly what you would like, I can create a separate bespoke eBay listing for your commission.

Prices vary depending on the vehicle, size of the diorama and amount of work involved.

Figures shown in example photographs are not included unless specifically agreed beforehand.

If you have no idea where to begin, that’s completely fine. Just tell me who the present is for and what you know about their Star Wars obsession, and I’ll help you from there.

Thanks for looking,

Josh
