Andor Obsidian Reign Star Wars TIE Fighter Custom Vintage Kenner Black Series

The Obsidian Reign was a covert TIE interceptor assigned to black ops missions during the Andor-era purges. Operating without transponder codes and bearing no insignia, it was dispatched only for precision eliminations—fast, silent, and final.

This custom piece has been fully hand-painted from the ground up. The hull was primed and airbrushed in layered charcoal and steel-grey tones, then shaded with controlled panel modulation for visual depth. Edge chipping was applied with a fine sponge, while drybrushing and oil washes brought out every surface contour and mechanical line.

Exhaust ports and stabilisers were weathered to reflect heavy atmospheric use, while the wing spars received directional streaking to mimic high-speed atmospheric passes. A red LED unit lights the cockpit from within, casting an ominous glow through the canopy—perfect for cinematic display.
