The Eclipse Tri-Fighter was deployed in the final sieges of the Clone Wars, its menacing triple-arm frame designed for lethal orbital combat and surgical strikes in asteroid belts. Manufactured in secret by rogue Techno Union elements, this grey variant was rarely seen—except by those who didn’t survive.

This unique piece was custom painted in a desaturated warm grey, airbrushed in layers for panel depth and tone variation. I used subtle modulation to bring out the circular frame and sharp shadowing across the limbs.

Shading was enhanced using a post-paint oil wash to give each groove and detail a sense of scale. Dry brushing on the ridges of each ring arm hints at orbital dust and micro-collisions.

Weathered but not wrecked, it was sealed with a matte varnish to hold the battle-worn finish. Perfect for collectors who love droid craft and darker Clone Wars lore.
