I finished this Imperial TIE Fighter as Kestrel-501, a heavily used one-off display piece rather than a factory-clean ship.
The fighter has a dark battle-worn finish with layered soot staining, chipped surfaces and grime worked into the recesses. The copper-toned cockpit ring has a heat-worn patina, while the dark solar panels, six-tube wing ordnance pod and 501 unit markings give the ship its own identity without losing the classic TIE silhouette.
The finish is built up in layers across the cockpit, panels and wing structure to create real variation and depth. Figures and loose accessories shown in the photographs are not included unless specifically stated.
